Opened in October 2012, Central 65 Hostel provides stylish sleeping capsules with orthopedic mattresses and 260-thread-count linens. This boutique hostel combines comfort and character on one of Singapore's local streets, Jalan Besar. A 2-minute walk from colorful Little India, it also has free WiFi and a spacious shared living area with a flat-screen TV.

Each sleeping capsule is thoughtfully fitted with a reading lamp and a bedside locker with an encased power socket. Built-in clothes hangers and a separate luggage locker are also provided. Bathroom facilities are shared, and towels are available at an extra charge.

Central 65 Hostel is a convenient 10-minute walk from Farrer Park, Little India and Bugis MRT Stations. It is a 10-minute walk from Sim Lim Square, a haven for those who like IT gadgets. Affordable souvenirs and modern fashion stalls are available at Bugis Village, a 15-minute walk away. At night, enjoy kebabs and flavored shisha at Arab Street, also a 15-minute walk away.

A simple free breakfast of cereal, bread, fruits and spreads are provided every morning. Free tea and coffee is also available throughout the day. Guests can also make use of the microwave, toaster and water dispenser at the common pantry.

In the common area, there are laptop stations for guests' usage. Discounted tour tickets are also sold at the front desk. Laundry can be done at the self-service coin-operated washing machines.

for bigger luggage, we will provide a luggage room for all of guests for free. we do have some small locker, but some of them are not working anymore

Location is centralized so it's very convenient to access to shopping malls, food places etc.

Overall, it was okay. I had a good bed, and the AC was really cool.
I like that it's located near a 7-Eleven convenience store so I could easily buy something that I need without going to far, and then the bus stop is also just around 500 meters away from the hostel, and then the nearest MRT station was Jalan Besar station, so moving around Singapore was super easy by bus and train. Staff were nice and accommodating. They reminded people to checkout because some people tend to forget that they already have to checkout hehe. The bed I had was comfortable, and the AC was superb. I liked the AC and it was working well so I had a good sleep every time. AC is very important to me because it's very hot outside in Singapore. The hot and cold shower was also working well.
The lobby where there are chairs and tables advertised are not owned by the hostel, so you cannot sit with your laptop there during the daytime when the restaurant is open or else, you will be forced to order food/drinks just so you could sit there. I had to do my stuff late at night because of this situation. I hope they had their own lobby to accommodate their guests who would like to stay outside their rooms sometimes. There was also this one Korean man who caused trouble in our room by opening each bed's curtains without permission. Very rude and looks like a pervert walking almost naked in the area.
